There is nothing better than a cool shake that feels like a treat but actually keeps you full. This recipe is a favorite in my house because it blends the classic flavor of a peanut butter cup with a good dose of protein to power your day.

My best tip is to use a frozen banana if you can. It makes the texture extra thick and creamy without needing to add any ice that might water down the peanut butter flavor.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, preferably frozen
  • 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup if you like it sweeter

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

Add the banana, protein powder, peanut butter, and your choice of milk into a blender.

  2. 2

If you like a colder shake, add the ice cubes now.

  3. 3

Blend everything on high speed for about 30 seconds or until the mixture is completely smooth.

  4. 4

Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

If you want an extra crunch, top your finished shake with a few crushed peanuts or a sprinkle of dark chocolate shavings. You can keep any leftovers in a tightly sealed container in the freezer for a quick grab and go treat later on.
