Quiche is one of my favorite things to make because it is so flexible. You can toss in whatever leftover vegetables, meats, or cheeses you have in your fridge, and it always turns out delicious. It is the perfect comfort food for a slow weekend morning.

My favorite thing about this method is that you do not need to par bake the crust. It saves you so much time while still giving you a beautiful golden finish. Make sure to whisk your eggs and cream really well so everything sets up perfectly in the oven.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 1 store bought deep dish pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 and 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 and 1/2 cups chopped cooked vegetables or meat
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Place the pie crust into a pie dish and trim any extra edges if needed.

  3. 3

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and combined.

  4. 4

Scatter your chosen fillings, such as cooked broccoli, spinach, bacon, or sausage, across the bottom of the pie crust.

  5. 5

Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the filling ingredients.

  6. 6

Pour the egg mixture carefully over everything in the crust.

  7. 7

Bake for 35 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden brown.

  8. 8

Let the quiche rest for about 10 minutes before slicing so it holds its shape.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

This quiche keeps very well in the refrigerator for up to three days. Simply wrap leftovers in foil or plastic wrap. You can serve it warm or at room temperature, and it tastes wonderful with a simple side salad.
