Everything Bagel Pull Apart Bread
This soft and cheesy pull apart bread is packed with savory seasoning and perfect for sharing.
recipesbynani.comThere is something so special about warm bread right out of the oven. This pull apart loaf is a favorite in my kitchen because it looks impressive but is actually quite simple to put together. You get layers of savory Parmesan and crunchy everything bagel seasoning in every single bite.
It is perfect for holidays, brunch, or just a cozy weekend at home. If you are worried about the rise time, just keep an eye on the dough rather than the clock, as a warm kitchen makes all the difference in getting that perfect fluffy texture.
๐งบ Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning, divided
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
๐ฉโ๐ณInstructions
- 1
In your stand mixer bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, sugar, olive oil, salt, flour, and half of the everything bagel seasoning.
- 2
Use a dough hook to knead the mixture for about 5 minutes until you have a smooth dough ball.
- 3
Move the dough to a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it sit for about an hour until it has doubled in size.
- 4
Punch the dough down and roll it out on a floured surface into a large rectangle about one quarter inch thick.
- 5
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the dough and gently press it into the surface.
- 6
Cut the dough into 3 long strips and stack them on top of each other. Cut the stack into 6 sections so you have 6 smaller stacks.
- 7
Place these stacks upright into a greased 8.5 by 4.5 inch loaf pan.
- 8
Sprinkle the remaining seasoning on top and let the bread rise for another 30 minutes while the oven preheats to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 9
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the bread is beautiful and golden brown.
๐ก Tips
Serve this bread warm alongside a side of herbed cream cheese for the best flavor. If you have leftovers, keep the loaf wrapped tightly in foil to stay fresh, and pop it in the oven for a few minutes to warm it back up before serving.
