This recipe is a lifesaver on busy weeknights when you want a home cooked meal without spending hours in the kitchen. It is one of my favorite dump and go dinners because you simply layer the ingredients in your slow cooker and let it do all the hard work for you.

My kids absolutely adore the creamy ranch flavor, and I love that it includes a hearty portion of potatoes. It is a complete meal in one pot, which means less cleanup for me and more time to relax with my family.

🧺 Ingredients

  • 2 pounds thick cut boneless pork chops
  • 6 8 medium red potatoes, cut into 2 inch chunks
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch dressing mix
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish, optional

👩‍🍳Instructions

  1. 1

Lightly spray the inside of your slow cooker with non stick cooking spray.

  2. 2

Place the potato chunks in an even layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.

  3. 3

Lay the pork chops on top of the potatoes.

  4. 4

In a small mixing bowl, stir together the cream of chicken soup and the dry ranch seasoning packet.

  5. 5

Pour the soup mixture over the pork chops, spreading it out to cover them.

  6. 6

Cover and cook on LOW heat for 4 to 5 hours until the pork is tender and the potatoes are soft.

  7. 7

Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley before serving if you like.

💡 Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. If the sauce becomes too thick once cooled, add a small splash of milk or broth when you reheat it in the microwave or on the stovetop.
