If you are looking for the perfect snack for your next get together, this is it. It combines that classic salty crunch of Chex mix with a zesty ranch flavor and a cheesy finish that everyone seems to love.

My best advice is to make sure you dry your pickle slices really well with paper towels before adding them to the mix. Getting them as dry as possible keeps the cereal nice and crisp while you bake it.

🧺 Ingredients

  • 9 cups corn or rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup goldfish crackers or cheese crackers
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 cup dried dill pickle slices
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

👩‍🍳Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, combine the Chex cereal and the cheese crackers.

  3. 3

Whisk the melted butter, ranch seasoning, and dried dill together in a small bowl.

  4. 4

Pour the butter mixture over the cereal and crackers, then toss gently until everything is evenly coated.

  5. 5

Spread the mixture out on a large baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring halfway through.

  6. 6

Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the top while it is still warm.

  7. 7

Stir in the dried pickle slices once the mix has cooled down completely.

  8. 8

Store in an airtight container once fully cooled.

💡 Tips

Store this mix in an airtight container at room temperature to keep it crunchy for up to one week. You can serve this in little paper cups at parties to make it easy for your guests to grab and go.
