This snack mix is a staple in my kitchen whenever friends come over. It is the perfect balance of salty pretzels and sweet white chocolate, making it almost impossible to stop at just one handful.

My grandkids love helping me shake the bag to get everything coated evenly. You can easily switch out the candies for seasonal colors if you want to make it look extra festive for the holidays.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 4 cups corn or rice cereal squares
  • 2 cups small twist pretzels
  • 12 ounces high quality white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup colorful chocolate candies
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper so the mix does not stick.

  2. 2

Place the cereal and pretzels into a very large mixing bowl.

  3. 3

Melt the white chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl in the microwave, stirring every thirty seconds until it is smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal and pretzels, then gently fold everything with a spatula until everything is coated well.

  5. 5

Spread the mixture out onto your prepared baking sheet in an even layer.

  6. 6

Sprinkle the chocolate candies and mini marshmallows over the top while the chocolate is still wet.

  7. 7

Let the mixture sit for about an hour until the chocolate is completely firm, then break it into chunks and serve.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store this in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. If you live in a very warm climate, keep the container in the fridge so the chocolate does not melt. This mix makes a wonderful gift if you put it in clear cellophane bags with a pretty ribbon.
