There is something so satisfying about a good chicken sandwich. I love making these when I want a meal that feels like a treat but comes together in just a few minutes. It is a fantastic way to enjoy those classic Caesar salad flavors in a handheld form.

My top tip for this recipe is to toast your rolls with a little bit of butter before you assemble the sandwiches. It adds a lovely crunch and prevents the bread from getting soggy once you add the dressing. Your family will definitely ask for seconds.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 4 buttery brioche rolls
  • 4 crispy breaded chicken fillets, cooked
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1/3 cup Caesar salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shaved
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven or air fryer to cook the chicken fillets according to the package instructions until they are golden and crispy.

  2. 2

While the chicken cooks, slice your rolls in half and spread the softened butter on the cut sides.

  3. 3

Place the rolls butter side up under a broiler for a minute or two until they are lightly toasted and golden.

  4. 4

In a medium bowl, toss the shredded romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing and the shaved Parmesan cheese.

  5. 5

Place one crispy chicken fillet on the bottom half of each toasted roll.

  6. 6

Top the chicken with a generous heap of the dressed Caesar salad.

  7. 7

Close the sandwiches with the top halves of the rolls and serve them immediately while the chicken is still warm.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Serve these with a side of sweet potato fries or a pickle spear. If you are prepping ahead, keep the dressed lettuce separate from the chicken until you are ready to eat so everything stays crisp.
