When you need a dessert that feeds a crowd, these sheet pan brownies are always my first choice. They are simple to bake and even easier to slice into small squares for guests to grab and enjoy.

My best tip for success is to line your pan with parchment paper. It makes lifting the whole batch out for clean slicing a total breeze.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9 by 13 inch baking pan, or line it with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Whisk the melted butter and sugar together in a large bowl until smooth.

  3. 3

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. 4

Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently mix until the batter is just combined.

  5. 5

Pour the batter into your prepared pan and spread it out evenly.

  6. 6

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.

  7. 7

Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before you cut them into squares.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store these brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. You can also freeze the cut squares in a freezer bag for up to two months if you want to get a head start on your party planning.
