Easy Cheeseburger Sliders
These tasty sliders are the perfect crowd pleasing meal for parties or a quick family dinner.
recipesbynani.comCheeseburger sliders are one of my favorite things to make when I need to feed a hungry crowd without spending all evening in the kitchen. They have all the classic flavor of a big burger tucked into soft, sweet rolls that everyone just loves.
My top tip for these is to press the beef into a single large patty that fits your baking dish perfectly. It saves so much time compared to shaping individual little burgers, and it makes the assembly part super simple.
๐งบ Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
๐ฉโ๐ณInstructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- 2
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess grease.
- 3
Season the beef with salt and pepper.
- 4
Slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to create a top slab and a bottom slab.
- 5
Place the bottom slab of rolls into your prepared baking dish.
- 6
Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the bottom rolls and top with the slices of cheese.
- 7
Place the top slab of rolls over the cheese.
- 8
Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter, then sprinkle with the sesame seeds and dried parsley.
- 9
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- 10
Cut into individual sliders and serve warm.
๐ก Tips
Store any leftover sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. They reheat beautifully in the oven or air fryer if you want to get the tops nice and crispy again.
