There is nothing better than a dessert that looks like a party and takes almost no effort to make. This bark is a favorite in my house because it combines the nostalgic taste of gooey s'mores with a bright, patriotic look that is perfect for summer holidays.

My best tip for this recipe is to work quickly once you melt the chocolate. Spreading it thin and adding your toppings right away ensures everything sticks perfectly before the chocolate sets.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 12 ounces semi sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup graham cracker pieces
  • 1/4 cup red, white, and blue sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips for drizzling

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so the bark does not stick.

  2. 2

Melt the semi sweet chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in thirty second intervals, stirring in between until it is completely smooth.

  3. 3

Pour the melted chocolate onto your prepared baking sheet and use a spatula to spread it into an even layer.

  4. 4

Immediately sprinkle the graham cracker pieces and mini marshmallows over the top, pressing them down gently.

  5. 5

Melt the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl and drizzle it over the bark, then finish by adding your festive sprinkles.

  6. 6

Place the tray in the refrigerator for at least one hour until the chocolate is firm.

  7. 7

Once set, break the bark into irregular pieces and serve it to your friends and family.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftover bark in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. If you are serving this outdoors on a hot day, keep it in a cooler until the very last second so it does not melt.
