There is something special about a burger that brings the whole family to the table. These crack burgers get their name because they are truly hard to stop eating, thanks to the mix of ranch seasoning and crispy bacon.

My top tip for the best flavor is to chill your beef patties for about twenty minutes before you put them on the grill. This helps them hold their shape and stay nice and juicy while they cook.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon ranch seasoning
  • Lettuce and tomato for serving

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, gently mix the ground beef with one tablespoon of ranch seasoning.

  2. 2

Shape the meat into four even patties and press a small indentation into the center of each one with your thumb.

  3. 3

Whisk the mayonnaise, ketchup, and remaining ranch seasoning together in a small bowl to create the crack sauce.

  4. 4

Cook the patties on a hot grill or skillet for about four to five minutes per side until they reach your desired doneness.

  5. 5

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking so it gets nice and melty.

  6. 6

Lightly toast your buns and spread a generous amount of the sauce on both sides.

  7. 7

Assemble your burgers by placing the patty on the bun, topping it with a piece of crispy bacon, and adding lettuce and tomato as you like.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Serve these with crispy potato chips or a simple side salad to complete the meal. If you have leftovers, store the patties separately from the buns in the fridge for up to three days and reheat them in a pan.
