There is something so special about the combination of savory ham and shredded pork pressed together with melted Swiss cheese. My family loves these sliders because they are soft, tangy, and disappear from the tray in minutes.

My secret for the best results is to brush the tops of the rolls with a little melted butter and garlic powder before baking. This gives them a beautiful golden finish that tastes just like a bakery roll.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 pound cooked shredded pork
  • 6 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to create one large top piece and one large bottom piece.

  3. 3

Place the bottom half of the rolls into a lightly greased baking dish.

  4. 4

Spread the yellow mustard evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.

  5. 5

Layer the shredded pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles over the rolls.

  6. 6

Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.

  7. 7

Whisk the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley together in a small bowl, then brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls.

  8. 8

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.

  9. 9

Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

  10. 10

Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. To reheat, wrap them in foil and place them in the oven at 300 degrees until warmed through. Serve these with a side of potato chips or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
