Refreshing Winter Fruit Salad
This bright and cheery fruit salad uses the best seasonal produce to bring a little sunshine to your table during the colder months.
recipesbynani.comWhen the weather gets chilly, I love making this fruit salad to remind me that nature still provides plenty of color. It is a wonderful way to enjoy fresh apples, pears, and citrus when they are at their absolute peak sweetness.
My favorite trick for this recipe is to wait until the very last second to toss everything together. It keeps the fruit crisp and prevents the juices from pooling at the bottom of your bowl.

- 2 crisp apples, chopped into bite sized pieces

Prepare all of your fruit by peeling, chopping, and segmenting as needed.

๐ก Tips
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one day. If you want a little extra crunch, try topping your bowl with a handful of toasted walnuts or almonds right before you eat.
