Grilled peaches are one of my favorite ways to turn ripe summer fruit into a simple and satisfying dessert. The grill brings out their natural sweetness and adds a light smoky flavor that tastes just like summertime on a plate.

They are incredibly easy to make and look beautiful when served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My biggest tip is to choose peaches that are ripe but still feel firm enough to hold their shape on the grill grates.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg, optional

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

Oil your grill grates well and preheat your grill or grill pan to medium high heat.

  2. 2

Brush the cut sides of the halved peaches with the melted butter.

  3. 3

Place the peaches on the grill cut side down and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until nice char marks form.

  4. 4

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.

  5. 5

Flip the peaches over and sprinkle the sugar mixture onto the cut sides.

  6. 6

Cover the grill or pan and cook for another 2 minutes until the sugar melts into a bubbly glaze.

  7. 7

Remove from the heat and serve immediately while warm.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. When you want to enjoy them again, warm them up in an air fryer at 350 degrees for 3 minutes, but try to avoid the microwave as it can make the fruit too soft.
