When the day gets busy and I need dinner on the table in a flash, I always reach for my stash of Trader Joe's favorites. This stir fry comes together in minutes and tastes just like takeout without the wait.

My secret is using a bag of frozen stir fry vegetables and a pre marinated protein source. It saves so much time on chopping and prep, leaving more room for family time at the dinner table.

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound pre marinated chicken or tofu
  • 1 bag frozen stir fry vegetable blend
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki or soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 cups cooked white or brown rice

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณInstructions

  1. 1

Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium high heat.

  2. 2

Add the chicken or tofu to the pan and cook until it is browned and cooked through.

  3. 3

Pour in the frozen vegetables and stir constantly until they are thawed and tender.

  4. 4

Drizzle the sauce over everything and toss well to coat all the ingredients evenly.

  5. 5

Serve your stir fry over warm rice and top with a sprinkle of sesame seeds before eating.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. If you like a little extra heat, feel free to add a splash of chili oil or some red pepper flakes right before serving.
